NEW I P Engineering Corris Coach Kit
 

 

Corris Carriage No. 17

This coach replicates the Corris carriage No17 as used by The Talyllyn Railway. The coach was originally used on the Corris railway before the railway closed. Before entering Talyllyn Railway service in 1961, this carriage had been used as a greenhouse and garden shed at Oswestry since the withdrawal of passenger services on the Corris Railway in 1930. On 25th November 1982 it carried HRH The Princess of Wales from Pendre to Rhydyronen,
This new coach design has been manufactured in conjunction with I P Engineering and Locolines. It is constructed in a unique way where all of the decorative side and internal seats are already printed on board so no detail painting or lining needs to be done the only painting that is required is roof, buffers and bogies. This kit is very easy to construct and opens itself to a lot of embellishment. Bogies, steel wheels, vacuum pipes, buffers and roof vents are included. Available in 32 m gauge and insulated 45 mm gauge.

Corris carriage No16
Due to the success of their first coach in this range they have extended the series inspired by the no 17 coach but it was never produced on the corris railway .

Corris Guards Coach
Also being produced is this guards coach which didn't actually exist.
This guards coach is the same construction as the third class but it has a guards compartment at the end for the guard to make tea and for large baggage. Also passengers can exit from both sides of the coach. It has been manufactured in conjunction with I P Engineering and Locolines. It is constructed in a unique way were all of the decorative side and internal seats are already printed on board so no detail painting or lining needs to be done the only painting that is required is roof, buffers and bogies.
